How to set up MetaMask for AsterDex
MetaMask is the crypto wallet you need to connect to AsterDex. Here’s how to install it, so you're ready to connect.

Install MetaMask
- Go to metamask.io/download and install the browser extension (Chrome, Firefox, Brave, or Edge).
- Click "Create a new wallet" and follow the prompts.
- Set a strong password and write down your 12-word seed phrase on paper.
Critical: Your seed phrase is the only way to recover your wallet. Store it offline in a safe place. Never share it with anyone. Not even LazyEye support.

The network is added automatically
AsterDex runs on the BNB Smart Chain, but you don't need to add that network manually. When you connect to AsterDex (Connect Wallet), AsterDex asks to add or switch to the right network for you. Just confirm that in MetaMask.

Get BNB for gas fees
Every transaction on BSC costs a tiny amount of BNB (typically less than $0.10). Buy about $5 of BNB on a Dutch exchange like Coinmerce or Bitvavo and send it to your MetaMask wallet address on BSC. $5 of BNB is always plenty and lasts a long time.
