The automated trading service for customers has ended. These terms are kept online because they governed the period in which the service ran. No new agreement can be entered into on this basis.
1. Acceptance of Terms
Anyone who used the LazyEye trading bot service ("the Service") was bound by these Terms & Conditions. The Service has ended, so these terms apply only to the period in which it ran.
2. Service Description
LazyEye provided an automated cryptocurrency trading bot that operated on AsterDex Perpetuals via the BNB Smart Chain. The bot executed trades automatically based on its algorithms at 1x (no leverage). Users could monitor and control their bots through the web dashboard at app.lazyeye.nl.
LazyEye is not a regulated entity and does not provide financial, investment, or tax advice.
3. Eligibility
The Service was exclusively available to residents of the Netherlands aged 18 or over. Registration is no longer possible: no new accounts are created.
4. Fees & Payment
While the Service ran, a one-off startup fee per bot and a monthly fee applied, invoiced in EUR by bank transfer. No new invoices are issued: billing ended together with the Service.
5. Risk Disclaimer
Cryptocurrency trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Past performance is not indicative of future results. You should only trade with funds you can afford to lose entirely. The value of your portfolio can go down as well as up.

6. User Responsibilities
- Creating and funding your own wallet, connecting it to AsterDex, and depositing funds are your own responsibility. LazyEye does not create wallets, move funds, or manage deposits on your behalf; we only connect to your account via your API keys to run the bot.
- You are responsible for keeping your API keys, wallet credentials, and account information secure.
- You must ensure sufficient funds in your wallet for trading and gas fees.
- You are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction, including tax obligations.
- You must not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- You are responsible for your own tax reporting on trading profits.
7. Custody & Funds
LazyEye never holds or has access to your funds. Your assets remain in your own wallet at all times. We only use your API keys to execute trades on your behalf. API keys should be configured with trading permissions only. Never withdrawal permissions.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, LazyEye shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service, including but not limited to:
- Trading losses
- Technical failures or bugs in the bot software
- AsterDex or blockchain network downtime
- Unauthorized access to your account due to compromised credentials
- Force majeure events (acts of nature, war, terrorism, government action, exchange hacks, blockchain outages, internet infrastructure failures, and other events beyond LazyEye's reasonable control)
To the extent permitted by Dutch law, LazyEye's total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total fees you paid to LazyEye in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Dutch law (including liability for intent or gross negligence).
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold LazyEye and its founders, employees, and contractors harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your violation of any law or third-party rights; (c) your negligence in securing your account credentials, API keys, or wallet; or (d) trading decisions or actions taken on your AsterDex account.
10. Refund Policy
Fees already invoiced were not refundable: they were charged for services already rendered. Billing has ended with the Service.
Trading losses are never refundable or reimbursable. LazyEye does not deposit, restore, or compensate any funds lost through trading, whether such losses result from market movements, the bot's strategy, conditions on the exchange, or any other cause. You trade with your own funds on your own AsterDex account and bear the full risk of loss. Any fees charged by LazyEye are payment for providing the software service and imply no guarantee of returns; they never oblige LazyEye to compensate or refund trading losses.
11. Intellectual Property
All content, software, algorithms, branding, and materials related to LazyEye are our intellectual property or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.
12. Termination
The Service has ended. All bots have been stopped and billing has been closed. Any positions that were open on AsterDex stayed in the user's own wallet, where they always were, and remain that user's own responsibility.
13. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it at Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
15. Changes to These Terms
While the Service ran, registered users were notified of material changes by email at least 30 days in advance. The Service has ended, so these Terms are no longer updated; this page is the last version.
