Cookie Policy

This cookie policy explains what cookies are, how LazyEye uses them, and your choices regarding cookies. This policy complies with the Dutch Telecommunications Act (Telecommunicatiewet) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR/AVG).

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to the website owners.

Cookies We Use

Our marketing website sets no tracking or analytics cookies and shares nothing with third parties. We only use strictly necessary functional storage in your own browser, which never leaves your device and does not identify you. Because of this, there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

The language you read the site in is part of the web address (/en/...), not stored on your device.

Your Choices

Since we set no analytics or tracking cookies, there is nothing to opt out of. You can clear the functional storage above at any time through your browser settings. Note that clearing it only resets your theme and re-shows the risk warning.

Dashboard Application (app.lazyeye.nl)

The LazyEye dashboard at app.lazyeye.nl uses an httpOnly secure cookie for authentication (session management). This cookie is strictly necessary for the application to function and does not require separate consent. It is not accessible to JavaScript and is transmitted only over HTTPS.
